Coronavirus Update

To Our Patient Family,

We know the health and safety of all of us here in Oklahoma, as well as our friends and family around the country and world is on everyone’s minds. With the growing concerns around the Coronavirus COVID-19, we are being proactive and taking extra precautionary measures in order to keep our office and the community we serve healthy.

Drs. Blum and Tinsley have always followed the latest infection control and prevention guidelines. We will continue to strictly adhere to these protocols using hospital grade disinfectants that kill all viruses and sterilization of instruments after each use.

Additionally, all doorknobs, handles, handrails, bathrooms, furniture, and the reception area are being cleaned and sanitized frequently during the day. We will have hand sanitizer available when you enter the office. If you, your family members, or friends are experiencing symptoms of a respiratory illness, whether cold or flu, or similar to cold/flu-like symptoms, please stay at home until recovered. Our team is adhering to the same in the interest of everyone’s health.

Additionally, if you have recently traveled to a US state or international region that has numerous cases, please reschedule your appointment for at least 14 days after your return.

To adhere to ‘social distancing’ recommendations from health officials, we ask that unless absolutely necessary, accompanying individuals do not remain in the office during patient treatment. We will attempt to keep patients separated as much as possible. Please call when you arrive to your appointment and we will let you know when it is appropriate to enter the office. Lastly, the World Health Organization and the US Surgeon General have advised we limit hand shaking for the short term. Out of an abundance of caution, we suggest that people limit their hand shaking as well as greeting hugs/kisses.

At the present time, we are following the CDC/ADA/ODA recommendations and are restricting our dental care to emergency and urgent care only at least until April 6. We will be rescheduling all preventative care at this time, including cleaning appointments.

Know that we are here for your urgent dental needs, to make you comfortable and not allow your dental problems to worsen. As soon as we have more information we will be contacting you to reschedule your appointments. We will get through this together!!! In the meantime, stay safe!!!

Sincerely,
Dr. Blum, Dr Tinsley, Kathy, Kaui, Melissa, Laura, Marla, Julie, Jayla, Heather, Savannah, Michelle and Jennifer
